Well if you take the three words which are different...
Riddle
Puzzle
Trivia
They all hav 6 letters - so a similarity..
They all contain at least 2 vowels, and 3 Consonants...
Numerologically
Riddle = 18+9+4+4+12+5=52
Puzzle = 16+21+26+26+12+5=106
Trivia = 20+18+9+22+9+1=79
So the difference is 27 from Riddle to Trivia and 27 from Trivia to Puzzle... Riddle (52)+27 = Trivia (79) + 27 = Puzzle 106
TADA!!!!

Unless you're playing scrabble, when - disregarding any premium squares:
Riddle = 8
Puzzle = 16 (one of the z's would have to be a blank)
Trivia = 10
BUT, if you take into account that the third 'Z' in 'Puzzle Quiz' would also have to be a blank, then the answer is 2

Ah, I get it - with the whole phrase you would get Riddle being 2 more than puzzle and trivia being 2 more than riddle...

Sorry folks, he said in his self-deprecating Canuck way, but we had this hurricane here in Halifax and I had been without power for a week.
Oh dear, and now I have to say I'm sorry for the question too because it wasn't really a question. It was a question. Y'know, like are we doing the right thing here quiz-wise and do people prefer the kind where ya have to work out a puzzle or decipher a riddle or where ya just gotta have a lot of trivial knowledge or a good search engine.
I like all your answers and of course they are all right. And while I have a personal fondness for the Scrabble solution to all questions about Life the Uni et al, I have to award the baton to ArgonO for pursuing it so thoroughly and getting here first.

Hmmmm... a puzzle....
Hmmmmm... How many roads must a man walk down? No, no, too obvious...
A man live on the 20th floor of an apartment block. Every day when going to work he takes the lift to the bottom floor. On returning from work, he takes the lift only to the 10th floor and takes the stairs for the rest
Why ?

Mu Beta Posted Feb 2, 2004
Either that or someone's p*ssed in the lift during the day and the smell has driven him out.
This is not an uncommon occurence in apartment blocks.

Or it's a dodgy lift, and the only buttons which work are for floors G to 10...

Maybe he felt like the exercise. Stair climbing is very beneficial to the thighs and calfs.

Mu Beta Posted Feb 3, 2004

GD, would you like to set the next question or call for a footrace?
This thing still open to all?

Can anyone join in here still?
I've been lost in the real world for about 18 months and only just found my way back.
I think i've missed about 10000 postings or so.
