Our daughter's music techer is a Mrs Savage - and she's pretty scary. I wonder if people "become" their names?
I can't think today - but I've been in PR a lot recently and this popped into my head...

Slightly oblique this ... I wnder how many surnames have recently changed to reflect occupatin.
My greatgrandfather used to sing in the streets on his way to work. He was a cobbler by the name of Freyfer. This was during the tail end of the Ottoman Empire in Lebanon. When he died, the pasha's wife apparently asked for him - not knowing his name, she said the guy that sings - our surname is now the arabic for singer ...
(ok *very* oblique )
