Lord Falk, you are a dreamer. Do you write poetry?

Lil, the Island's population is about 125,000 and on the average year we get about 1,250,000 tourists - ten times the population of the Island. So, they definately get in the way - but the Island's economy more or less depends on them, but alas the privately owned ferry companies love charging too much and discourage more tourists, so it is now more expensive to go to the Island than France...

It's said that we have the most expensive stretch of water in the world, mile for mile...

Poetry! smiley - smiley I love to read it and write it! smiley - smiley Since I don't think that the poems are good, I just write because is fun. Sometimes I try short stories but I write them enough during the roleplaying sessions... smiley - biggrin
Usually people think I am weird. I can only say that my poems are weird. That is the only thing I can agree, but no one really knows that I write, except friends. smiley - winkeye But they don't have to suffer from it since I usually hide my writings. smiley - laugh
But the world is not so simple as it seems. That's why the poems are good for showing the world beyond this world.
*Lord F sees very very very weird dreams* smiley - winkeye
But anyway... smiley - biggrin What are your favorite poets? smiley - smiley

Most of the writings are in Finnish so I must use some time to translate them. smiley - smiley But I'll let you know then... smiley - laugh
I have been reading Yeats too. Same goes for Keats and Blake. After I have finished the Dante I would someday read the Aeneis from Vergilius. But this will take time a bit... smiley - winkeye

You are making me think that I should add a shelf for poetry books to the Tea Shoppe. Do you think that is a good idea?

I think so - but if I ever finish "Arcadia" and it gets published, promise to keep a copy on the shelf. smiley - winkeye
And you can't talk about poems without a glass of milk.

*Phillipa enters the Shoppe, to take over for her Aunt who is going home to her cottage now. Phillipa sees Lord Falk reading. She quietly brings him more tea and a plate of biscuits, setting them by his hand without disturbing him.*

One thing I always wanted to ask, which is, where do you live, Phillipa? In your own cottage, or with your aunt?
