*mari-rae's useful niece opens the tea shoppe door and sees dust covering everything. She throws open the windows and doors and gets busy cleaning. Soon all is put to rights and she brews up a nice pot of orange pekoe. Cookies and cakes are mixed and baked, sending lovely inviting smells out into the spring breeze...*

I'm happy you are the first customer. What sort of tea were you looking for? Have some cake or cookies while you think... Or both!

Oh, just the drinkable kind - ordinary, not flavoured, tea.
But thanks for the offer - what types do you have?

*Puts the kettle on...*
Well, lets see. There is lemon pound cake, chocolate fudge cake, blueberry dream pie, apple kuchen, cherry pie, and dirt dessert. The last one is made with crushed oreo cookies.

What's new around the Waterworks?

Very little has happened - mainly because I'm waiting for all my conversations to return, and a lot of them were started in September 1999... Hopefully they'll be back soon.
You're welcome to have a wander, though. The Swimming Pool is still open, and you can still buy doughnuts.

Yep, so as soon as you e-mail me your address, I'll post it over to you. [email protected]'s good - if that gets moderated out, look at the e-mail address on my homepage.
(By the way moderators - my e-mail account has a delete button so I fear no junk/abusive mail )

Hullllo !....
Anybody in here ?
I am quite new around here, and wondering if... you know, maybe some tea, and a couple of buttered scones...
*sits and wait patiently, looking around...*

*pulls out a huge silver watch on a chain from her purse, and frowns above her spectacles*
Oh my goodness, is this the time ?
Well, I am afraid I'll have to run... We'll have tea some other time, won't we ?
*scribbles a quick note, thanks and everything, and puts it on the counter before leaving*

I'm almost out of tea, horrible thought...
Just give me 10 ounces each of your 5 most popular blends, please...
...oh, and I almost forgot this... *digs in her purse*

an icy shiver runs down his spine as he wonders what happened to the previous owners...story was that they just dissapeared and despite searches
of the sourrounding fields and the lake nothing has been seen or heard from them since..perhaps their presence is still here???
