In general, school papers tend not to be what we're looking for here. Have you had a chance to look around at Edited Guide entries?
We already have entries in the Edited Guide on depression and anxiety, and one that covers schizophrenia as well -- I've listed them below so that you can take a look and get a better idea of what Edited Guide entries are like. Is there a topic you'd be interested in writing about that isn't already covered in the Edited Guide?
A565625 Depression and College Students
A3213064 Bipolar Disorder or 'Manic Depression'
A717545 Medication for Depression
A685037 Overcoming Depression
A270109 Teenage Depression
A722251 A Personal Account of Depression Survival
A3187244 Anxiety Disorders, Panic and Phobia
A446393 Schizophrenia and 'Split Personality'

I'm doing that unit too - your notes are more detailed than mine (i noticed a couple of studies I didn't know about).

The difference with my article is that it also contains scientific research studies to argue the cause of depression, schizophrenia and phobias. I believed this would be useful - not just for A level students.
I have already had one reply saying it was very useful.
What should I do?

Hi psychosarah
I suggest you read the Entries listed above by Mikey and then select one section of your article which doesn't overlap with the existing ones and convert it into a style that is more like a magazine or journal article and less like school notes.

It needs a different writing style - you could, I guess, do a wide entry covering these various mental health problems, but it needs to be written in a way that is much more reader friendly.
The academic references can be linked to, but shouldn't be in the text in the way that one would write notes or a research paper. All articles in the Edited Guide need to be written for the interested layman, so this would need to become more explanatory.

Have a look at entries which are already in the Edited Guide to get an idea of the sort of style they're written in.

psychosarah seems to have elvised, last posting on May 16th. I propose a move back to the entry, as it seems there is quite a bit of overall, and the entry would need quite a re-write to match the style suitable for the edited guide. Any seconds?
