No, thanks. It's about time I headed home.
*I slap a nice tip on the bar, and then head out the door.*

Ah, cheers, mate, still knocking around? Oh, come off it, you needn´t go in for the old scones:
Here´s a delicatessen from the Algäu. Schneebälle (Snowballs). They are a kind of krusty pastry covered with either nougat or icing-sugar, or with marzipan, or...
*Engländer reaching into his bag of goodies*
And here: a wonderful sample of a bavarian Weißbier.
Well, I am lucky to have such honest customers around here. I can still feel the sence of a warm, helping (and helping yourself) atmosphere around here. That´s just how I like it.
*Engländer jumping into the kitchen, doing the washing up, preparing foooooood!!!*

*Engländer thinking: I don´t sell bubble gum! Who put the dispenser in the "LOO" (I hate that expression: BAAAAAATHROUM!)
Well, Sir, may I offer you the latest homebrewn irish stout. It´s one of the latest brands to be put on the market in the southwest of Germany.
Anyone for a pretzel?

Is there anyone around who can get this thing groovin´?

Um... no. I stink at guitar playing.
*holds up small hands*
Same reason I couldn't cut it as a full-time classical pianist.

What do you play then instead?

I play piano, but I must leave out ragtime music, some jazz, and the odd classical piece. I play a nice flute, and sing reasonably well. If you install a piano, I'll "play" one of my compositions for you.

*Engländer wondering where there´s the piano-shop at h2g2...*
I shure would be interested. I might put up a small peace of music up with the actual article. I have been experimenting with backgroundmusic for my homepage. Took a bit of my most favorite pieve of music, Hejira by Joni Mitchell.
So I will be off to town today and look for a piano. I am out looking for birthdaypresents. Any good suggestions for someone who has got all? Anybody got a suggestion of an author in the line of Faye Kellermann, Barbara Vine, Ruth Rendall, Joy Fielding and the like, that you may not know off hand?

Phew! Well, that was my own piece. Any requests for other stuff?

*Engländer klapping, always feels a little silly when he does it alone. Looks around and hopes the place will fill up, if people get to know what good music´s being played*
Nice one. Have a drink on the house. You should organize a tour of the pubs, bars and cafés at h2g2!

Wow! Thanks, guys.
I'll think I'll stick in this pub, for a little while. Good musicians always start with small venues until they've polished their act.
