I give up! I cannot find anywhere to report the broken link:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ww2/writing-guidelines
so here's hoping someone can fix it. [new member looking for the guidelines before contributing - that's what it says we're to do!]

You have the link wrong - it should read:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/writing-guidelines

Did you not see 'Editorial Feedback' on your way here?

The missing link is a clickable hyperlink on the pages concerned with WW2 Peoples' War pages: correct as noted. I have read the guidelines on the link you kindly give, but they are related to general contributions: perhaps the WW2 contributions are seeking something more specific?

Hi cameron-highlands

Perhaps this is the best link for you:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ww2/Writing-Tips

The WW2 People's War site is shortly due to stop accepting new entries, becoming instead a 'flat site' where people will still be able to read other peoples' thoughts and reminiscences but where new entries won't be accepted any longer. I'm afraid I'm not entirely sure as to the timescale about when this is going to happen, so if you particularly want to submit something to the WW2 site, I'd suggest you do it sooner rather than later! smiley - smiley

The ww2 site editors have received massive input since the announcement of closure. Chances are you will not hear anything from them before the time.
