The ™; sign is a Windows thing as far as I know:
Type the figures 0153 whist holding down the Alt button.
Alt + 0153 = ™
Alt + 0169 = ©
Alt + 0174 = ®
you can do lots of other symbols too: æ,Œ,§,µ,Ð,;,¡,¹²³°,¿,ð,±,ß, and much, much more., including letters with various accents, umlauts etc.
If anyone is interested I'll publish them on my site, just let me know
works with Times New Roman, but different fonts show different characters.

Apologies : Alt+0153 works with all my fonts, wordprocessors/dtp programmes and email copy and paste doent seem to work either, the only one that doesn't - maybe a guru will come along and let us all know

If you cut & paste '™' from a MS product such as word you will copy the charcter code the MS product uses rarther than the XHTML code browsers use, another stupid MS bug.
