The ™; sign is a Windows thing as far as I know:
Type the figures 0153 whist holding down the Alt button.
Alt + 0153 = ™
Alt + 0169 = ©
Alt + 0174 = ®
you can do lots of other symbols too: æ,Œ,§,µ,Ð,;,¡,¹²³°,¿,ð,±,ß, and much, much more., including letters with various accents, umlauts etc.
If anyone is interested I'll publish them on my site, just let me know smiley - biggrin
works with Times New Roman, but different fonts show different characters.

works with Times New Roman, but different fonts unleash many different, and sometimes stange, characters.

Apologies : Alt+0153 works with all my fonts, wordprocessors/dtp programmes and email copy and paste doent seem to work either, the only one that doesn't - maybe a guru will come along and let us all know

If you cut & paste '™' from a MS product such as word you will copy the charcter code the MS product uses rarther than the XHTML code browsers use, another stupid MS bug.
