You say you want Gadgets? I picture gadgets as being used for everyday h2g2 life like the link, for example, now! How about a few widgets? For example, I have a Cyber Pet one on my site!

Well it's a start..

What it is, is a little script that relies on a form (yes i know, but if it's put into a gadget the form will be allowed! ), that shows a text smiley type image of your pet You can Feed it Fruit, Chocolate, or the bin contents, you can hatch it right from the start, clean up after it (Won't that be fun!! ) and even discipline it until it's suicidal. If you get bored.

Thanks h2g2Links, but we've done a search on Google for a section of your code:

"Stat[6] = 'Disinfected!';"

and found a very similar version of your script on The JavaScript Source website that uses Pokemon nomenclature, but which is otherwise identical. The copyright notice on The JavaScript Source says: "YOU MAY NOT MODIFY, COPY, REPRODUCE, REPUBLISH, UPLOAD, POST, TRANSMIT, OR DISTRIBUTE, IN ANY MANNER, THE MATERIAL ON THE SITE, INCLUDING TEXT, GRAPHICS, CODE AND/OR SOFTWARE."

So you can only post this script to h2g2 if you are the original author, and have signed a non-exclusive distribution licence with The JavaScript Source website that allows further submissions of your work to other publishers. If this is the case, please let us know, and we're sorry for having to ask... but we're obviously very keen to protect authors' rights.

However, if the script is *not* all your own work, we cannot accept it for h2g2. Furthermore, as our policy is not to link to sites that infringe copyright laws, we would also either need to remove all links to your personal site from h2g2, or would ask that you delete the copyright code from your site (which would be our advice).
