I ran out of ideas with this, and don't know where to go with it. It's been in the Flea Market for a while, but it would be nice to revive the idea. Advice would be gratefully received

I tried to study guitar for all of three months once. Shouldn't strumming be addressed at some point? How a song sounds is just as reliant on the strumming as the chords. PS: whoever laid out the chords so nicely deserves a gold star.

Ah - so this is where this one's ended up...
I've got a couple written down:
Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Greenday - the verse is Em, G, D, A, repeat, but the chorus is C, D, G, E5 x3 and then C, D, B. Not quite simple enough - haven't been able to play it to check, even.
Come As You Are by Nirvana is a better bet - the verse is Em D ad nauseum, and the chorus is Am C for seemingly ever.
Oh and one thing that keeps bothering me - why only chords? Things like the rhythm guitar melody from In My Time of Dying by Led Zeppelin is easy enough to play that even I can manage...

oh, um yes. My lone protest involves funding availability so as to increase guitar playing aptitude of the people from the south...
