[sea] you'd... *smack* have to *kick, punch* go through my *scratch* agent... *feminine scream of pain*
*sea grabs NYC's arms in an attempt to keep him from beating on her. they struggle like that for a moment, then NYC's obviously superior upper body strength wins over and the fight continues*

[Mewtwo] }No clue. Vekura?{
[Vekura] {Dunno. Herm?}
[Herman Melville] I do not know. Frederick?
[Fred Flintstone] I dunno. Barney?
[Barney Gumble] I haven't the faintest idea. [BURP] Ozmodiar?
[The Great Gazoo] I find it exceptionally obvious but I'm not going to tell you. Besides, Ozmodiar is my brother.
[Barney Gumble] Awww. Who are you then?
[The Great Gazoo] I am the Great Gazoo.

*NYC slams sea against the wall. Sea kicks NYC in the gut, and NYC doubles over. Sea then uppercuts NYC, knocking NYC clear off his feet. NYC uses this opportunity to kick sea's feet out from under her, and sea falls over. NYC scrambles to his feet, and proceeds to stomp on sea. Sea screams in rage, and pounces up at NYC like a leopard on caffiene*
*WHAP, CRASH*
*punch, kick, punch*
*tackle, WHAM, THUD*

Unnoticed with all the action going on, the shadows recede. Maestus is gone. New shadows rise up around the various bits of floor and ceiling that were destroyed, creating black but solid areas. The aura of the room lightens, and everyone is filled with a peaceful, contented, slightly numb feeling. Maestus' left-handed beretta remains lying on the floor, the clip smoking gently. With Maestus not here, the silver glickers and becomes untarnished, gleaming brightly.

*sea starts feeling peaceful and numb, then NYC punches her and she lets out a scream of rage*
*kick*
*punch*
*slap*
*sea finally gains the upper hand and gets NYC by the throat. he gasps for air, flailing his arms. he grabs her wrists and tries to break her hold. slowly, he tears her hands away and gasps for air. sea, enraged, struggles to be able to influct bodily injury upon him, but with both of her hands useless, she is left feeling very frustrated*

*NYC keeps a firm grip on sea's wrists*
[sea] let me go!
[NYC] no!
*sea breathes on NYC, NYC winces*
[NYC] god, sea! lay off the nacho doritos!
*NYC lets go of sea and covers his nose with his coat. sea grabs NYC's over arm and twists it behind him*
[NYC] AAGH! let me go!
[sea] no!

*sea thinks 'haha! the upper hand!' and wrenches NYC's hand up behind him. NYC yelps and throws his head back, hitting sea squarely in the forehead. she tumbles over backwards and NYC jumps to his feet, trenchcoat still covering his nose (doing a very demented dracula impression) and kicks sea in the stomach*
[sea] oof!
*sea rolls up into a little ball, and NYC laughs. he starts to lower the coat from his nose, and sea kicks out a leg and knocks him off his feet*

*NYC falls onto his back, sea bounds up and lunges at him. NYC nimbly flips sea over him, and she lands on her back out beyond him. NYC twists around to face her, but sea is faster and pounces on him, splaying him out on the floor*
[sea] haHA! you are NO match for me!
[NYC] *cough* wait! wait a sec! just HOW did this start?
[sea] I forget, but that's not the point!
[NYC] well, aren't we supposed to be fighting heros?
*both NYC and sea peer over at Poetry Woman. PW gulps, expecting the worst*

Poetry Woman hastily stuffs the rest of her popcorn in her mouth, and turns on the forcefield of literary taste. She also decides that there's no immediate rush to stand all on her own. After all, if UH is just HERE anyway...
She levels her poetry beam at sea and NYC

*NYC pulls out a radio transmitter*
[NYC] hey, sea. watch this.
*NYC presses a button on the transmitter, it beeps*
[NYC] Poetry Woman! You couldn't hit me if I were STRAPPED to the damned poetry beam, HAHAHAHahahahahaha!
*Poetry Woman gets rather red in the face, and fires her poetry beam. the green beam emitting from her device hits the forcefield and creates a deadly little bubble, as the beam bounces back and forth inside the forcefield. Poetry Woman yelps, and hits the dirt*
[NYC] polarity reversers, you gotta love 'em.
[sea] nice...

*sea walks over to PW in the forcefield of literary taste and touches the forcefield. it makes a slight tingling feeling in her hand, but no pain. sea grins again*
[sea] hey, NYC... what do you think would happen if i shook the forcefield?

[Mewtwo telekinetically shakes the forcefield slightly, and the poetry beam goes out of a small hole in the bottom. The beam bounces around the room several times, narrowly missing everyone in the room except for NYC, whom it hits in the end]
[Mewtwo] }Um ... that.{
