London meet: Master B's "Gimmick" Idea
Mu Beta Started conversation Apr 5, 2005
OK, I don't really want to end up taking the same old photos of the same old people (no offence meant), so a slightly different idea.
Everybody should bring a representation of their hootoo nickname, so I can take your photo with 'your nickname'. For example, if 2legs brought 2 legs (off a table, maybe), I could take a photo of '2legs with 2 legs'. And so on. Saves work on name badges too.
Easier for some people than others, admittedly, but what do people think?

In the unlikely event that I actually make it to the next one, I could always wear a target t-shirt...

Well God forbid that you might actually turn up.

I like the idea, but I'm not sure I'd manage unless I brought a very thin pale woman with me. I could bring a bat or a coffin or something, I'm sure a friend of mine has that sort of thing hanging around.

*Really doesn't want to think about what Master B's representation might be*

Having been around when the name was unabridged I share your trepidation.
As 'ShazzPRME' I could have problems but as 'The Post Team' there would be quite a few options

Seeing as Lizzbett is just a derivation of my real name, do I have to come with a photo of myself?
I was hoping to just re-cycle the name badger that I made last year, seeing as I've been sad enough to keep it.

I am pleased to see your imaginations are working.
I can't picture Croz in a foul mood, though - he's always so amiable.

Hoovooloo Posted Apr 6, 2005
Looks thoughtfully back over some recent versions of name...
Hoovooloo... I suppose I could bring a prism...
Hoo Verdam... don't think I'd fit that in the boot of the car...
Hoo Liganism... there'll probably be quite enough of that already...
Hoo Rayhenry... topper, waistcoat and monocle?
Hoo Didclaw... Hayulp!
Hoo Car Pipe... get a toke in that!
Hoo Ten Annie... what, do I have to bring Jools Holland and all his friends?
Hoo Tieandtheblowfish... I suppose I could just bring a CD...
However, (Hoowever?), given that two separate friends of mine have in the last week independently told me that the new Doctor Who looks like me (or that I look like him...), I think I'd just stick with "Hoo", wear a leather jacket and see if I can lay my hands on a sonic screwdriver...

< and see if I can lay my hands on a sonic screwdriver...>
Put that away you dirty young man and wash your hands.
You look nothing like David Tennant.
I suggest you go to the meet and get some one to wlak in with a big polystyrene cut out of the word summer - you look out the window and someone is bringing the word winter in. You scarper from the meet - being the true Dr you can cope with one season.
