This is, strangely, the thread for signing up in.
It will be a pointless request but I'll make it anyway :: Try to keep chatting down in the thread, and just leave U numbers and weather you are a definate or possible atendee etc... well I did* say it was a futile request Oh go on then, I'll sign up...

You can put me down as a probable to come to the picnic in the park (which I did last year) but I'm unlikely to stay on for the evening events.

I usually turn up too these things.

Hypatia, one of the USAian researchers will be in the Uk from the 29th of May until the 5th of June. Is there any chance at all we could make it around then.

Please please please pretty please with a cherry on top.

Put me down as a possible for the timebeing, 4-5 months is too far in the future to know for certain what's going on (especially as my contract is up for renewal in July), so for the timebeing I'll play it by ear.

Z, she is here a bit longer than that! You're basically asking for the meet to be on Saturday 4th June here, and while that is ok it means I will have to stay sober as I'll be driving her to the airport at 5am the next morning. I wasn't really planning on being sober for the summer meet...
