I've always believed the proper phrase was the "Bowie Bulge." It's no wonder Bowie once played a song called "Don't Look Down."
It is one of my favorite movies - the production is particularly sleek, and Bowie has always been a great actor in many aspects, such as the stage production of "The Elephant Man." His menacing performance I've always considered more powerful than the constant image of Jennifer Connely running about like a stupid, self-centered teenager. The dance scene while they play "As The World Falls Down" I consider one of the greatest movie scenes of all time.
