"One Bowie album I'd love to get hold of is his 1993 'soundtrack' for the BBC TV series 'The Buddha Of Suburbia'"
Dang, I wish I'd known that - I'm certain I've seen it at Cheapo, but it was a while ago which means it's either sold or been overstocked and has dosappeared into the black hole known as The Warehouse never to be seen again Or maybe it wasn't the soundtrack at all - perhaps it was a DVD of BoS

SO glad you decided to take part in this discussion - now that I have heard your opinions of the post-1990 albums I shall have to check them out even though you don't like my personal favourite ...

So great to hear someone else who is into his latest works! What amazes me about them is, like you said, the more depths they reveal with each repetition. I thought nothing could beat Heathen, but Reality is at least a very close second, and the tour was fantastic. And "The Pretty Things are Going to Hell" is excellent to play really loud in the car! Nice review of all the albums!

Dusts a bit more , Oh yes Bowie .I started off looking to see if there was a david bowie appreceation society on H2G2 and ended up here . I am just a huge fan , the adulation blows hot and cold over the years but having only recently purchased heathen it is now hot . It really is a good album the first bowie record i have bought since lets dance . Which was only played a couple of times before being vanquished to the cupboard of obscurity .
