[The foot of Mt. Sandeverest. BGM*: A stimulating mountain music. SFX: Mt. Sandeverest background. Six people are there: YK, Elizabeth, Afgncaap5, Starman Jones, Ultros, and Chupon.]
[YK] So, here we be. What're we doing first?
[Liz] We're going up to the top to get the John Handcock of the guys up top to prove I actually went there.
[Ultros] Wee hee hee!
[Chupon] Fungahhh!
[YK] Let's wait 'til everyone posts. [under breath] ...Or subscribes to this forum

[Liz] [helping him up] That was a very silly thing to do.

*Affy meanders out of the tourist shop that exists at the foot of the mountain*
Man, does this bring back memories! You know, I was a member of the expedition from Damogran that originally climbed this thing. Until then, no one else had ever been there. To this date, we're the only people who've actually attempted to climb there, and spaceships and helicopters don't land because it's just so far out of the way (not to mention the weather difficulties). Unless the guru's been there recently, we'll probably find the remains of the last expedition undisturbed.
*Affy pulls out the map that he made during the last expedition, and smiles....until he sees an all-too familiar arm-band magically appear*
Oh, no, not again. Does this have to happen *EVERY* time I come face to face with a guru?

[YK, Liz, and Ultros] Huh?
[YK] Care to enlighten us?

Let's just say that the guru has a strange sense of humor and leave it at that.

[YK does so]
[Liz] [getting right to the point] Affy, what's the best, easiest, and quickest way to go up? Balancing the three?

Well, teleportation would work, but I doubt that would allow Liz to get into STUMPED. There really aren't many options, but if you want an easy route, we could circumnavigate the underground tunnels. No sense having to fight off dwarfs if you should be climbing the mountains....oh, wait though. We'll need to go underground at some point. After all, we do need the Crystal Lights.
So, I guess we just follow the same basic route that the original questers did. Which means, we'll have to first take a short trek through Moxon Wood. Careful, though. It's inhabited by the Killer Rabbits. No telling whether Minos succesfully moved all of them out or not.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have this adventure in The Beach? This is the River. Mt. SandEverest is on the Beach.

*Just then, a particularly large wave washes in towards the beach. On top of the wave, on top of a surf board can be seen a large wolf. The wolf is sitting very near the front edge of the surfboard, in such a way that all of his toes hang over the front edge. He is, in effect, hanging 20, and is quite proud of the fact, as evidenced by the huge grin on his face He hangs 20 for a short while before losing his balance and falling spectacularly into the wave. The surfboard flys in one direction and the wolf is tumbled over and over in the wave until he is washed up on shore at the feet of the group. The wolf stands up, surveys the group and walks over beside Liz. He dries himself as all canines do, by shaking vigourously. This, of course, soaks Liz. The wolf grins again and changes form into a human.*

[Liz] Hi. YK??
[YK] Uh ... Affy?? [to Liz] I didn't expect him to come here.
[Narrator] YK's statement to Liz is technically correct, as he asked Garius Lupus in another forum to follow along discreetly, i.e. subscribing to the forum without posting until a later time. However, since Affy also told him about this thread in an E-mail message, and he checked his e-mail before his user pa--
[Liz] CAN WE GET ON WITH THIS??
[Narrator] Sorry.
D'OH! All right, let's go to the beach page.
