Of course we won't have any mosquitos! They only like water they can breed in, and a well-kept swimming pool like this isn't the sort of water they can breed in. 
Too much chlorine.

I have looked into this, you see... mosquitoes always used to think I was very juicy and bit me a lot.

It's OK, they seem to leave me alone now. Except for once in the last summer when I was bitten 31 times in one night... I think that was mosquitoes, anyway. If it was a flea or anything it went quickly because I was bitten another six times the next night and then not at all. So it probably was a mosquito. Or several.
Anyway, I'll shut up now!

Because you don't see vampire mosquitoes in horror films... nor do you see vampire bats, of course... Anyway, it's probably the whole bats-are-much-bigger-and-scarier-because-they-fly-but-aren't-birds-or-insects and mosquitoes-are-just-insects-everyone-knows-insects-and-aren't-afraid-of-them... or something like that anyway...

Hmmm... yes... I can see it now... lots of people running around screaming and generally trying to look like they're panicking, and then... close up on a cat-shaped mosquito with red eyes, an evil grin, and a very large machine gun... and an eight-foot tall London taxi with purple tentacles and a grudge against peanuts as a side-kick...
Erm.
An I missing something or does that not sound right?
