I'm not sure I'm qualified to write about Cov Uni for 2 reasons.
1. I never graduated.
2. I only spent a year there, and most of that was in the pub.

Coventry has 2 Universities (under a technicality)
Warwick University is actually in Coventry, It falls within the city boundary.
Coventry University (formerly known as Lancaster Polytechnic) which lies right in the heart of the city itself.

Well, IK...you could still tell us about the pub?!

Founded as Coventry Colleges of Design in 1843 - merged with other local colleges to form Lanchester Polytechnic in 1970. In 1987 became Coventry Polytechnic and was granted university status in 1992.

Famous alumni: David Yelland, editor of the Sun, and legendary weatherman John Ketley.
