RFJS__ - trying to write an unreadable book, finding proofreading tricky

Have you read this book? The history of id Software until some time after Romero left. It's a very good read if you're interested in the subject.

Incidentally, I reckon your comments on Halo may be seen as contentious, not least by the HL2 fraternity, but from a historical perspective I was more surprised to find that Halo (a console FPS) got a section but Goldeneye (ditto) didn't.

Sorry, I didn't realise I was addressing one person who'd Elvised and another who'd picked the Entry from the FL. So the 'you' makes limited sense.

But it's good to see this is going to be worked on. smiley - smiley

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

There was a mention of Goldeneye in the original entry, but it was little more than saying that GE was the best FPS ever.

The Halo stuff wasn't written (only re-edited) by me, I've not actually played Halo myself but left it in as it seems to be a really popular game.
