Centre-aligned paragraphs?

Before, I think that the tag in GuideML to make your paragraphs centre-aligned worked, but it'd seem now that it doesn't?
Is there a way to centre-align things without having to use HTML? I really like GuideML, it's based on XML, which is a buzzword.

Hi
Currently you can mix HTML with GuideML in a page.
The tag was recently elevated from HTML to GuideML & the align attribute was disabled.
To centre a paragraph in GuideML you can use the PULLQUOTE tag in GuideML (http://www.h2g2.com/A184916#PULLQUOTE.6 ).
Alternatively you could wrap your paragraph with the HTML tag. However, because it's an HTML tag there's no guarantee that it will continue to work in the future - so the PULLQUOTE tag is probably your best bet
