h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

My German is terrible as well (or is that "ganz schrecklich"?), but most people are very understanding. Or at least they pretend...

According to the Vegetarian Society page, the only veggies here are F, LR and DD, but maybe there are others who haven't admitted to it yet.

Anyway, it's easier for others to eat veggie food than for us to eat the German sausages (which no-one seems to have touched yet).

*Goes over to the table, looks suspisciously at something labelled "vegetarishes Wurst" and decides to stick to the chocolate fish, even though they make his head spin.*

There're lots of veggies here...

...and I mean my Germans is *terrible*...I doubt I could construct a decent sentance... I did it for GCSE & haven't spoken a word of it since...there's so much I've forgotten...

All of us have forgotten more things than we care to remember...

yes...it's slightly sad...

Speaking of forgetting things, I have to go and do my expenses claim, otherwise I'll be broke all month. Please say "hallo" and "danke" to our host, who I never thanked for the invisible cushions.

May I have a Haipirinha?

Oh, there are the German "Weißwurst" - yummy! Allthough the Bavarians will scream, as for they should be eaten only till 11 a.m. Anyway, they taste ok.

comes home and arrives just in time to prepare a Haipiranha for Kasia

*grinds dried lemon sharks*

*pours isopropanol over ground lemon sharks*

*puts 3 icecubes into the glass*

*adds some fresh piranhas*

*adds a lemon peel and a straw*

wow, this IS hot stuff. Hope, you'll have something for my hangover tomorrow *grin*

that's not so bad ... there are a lot of vitamins in there and omega3 fatty acids ... just make sure that you drink enough ...

*goes to the music-box (did I mentioned, that I brought one of those old-fashioned-1950s things with me?) and put Al Jarreau's "Mas que nada" on*

I have no idea, but there are lights and quite a lot of different colours - is this a help?

As in my part of the world (Warschau/PL) the clock shows 1 p.m., maybe we should get some late breakfast - I guess the name is "Venice breakfast". So, the buffet is good for it; want someone also have eggs in a glass (=Wiener eggs), croissaints and a milkcoffee?
