If I have a kid, their (yes, whether a boy or a girl) name will be *ahem*
Senator Lavernaues Shiloh Pegasus Anduin Thor Arthur Name Artichoke Vladimir Io Xavier Briton Diablo Julian (Insert Surname Here)
Senator is from The News from Lake Wobegon
Lavernaues is the first name of Private Tucker on Red Vs. Blue
Shiloh is a Hebrew name (I think meaning peace, but I wouldn't try to impress someone with that)
Pegasus was the famous pterippus from Greece
Anduin is a fairly common name in the Warcraft Universe
Thor was the son of Odin and wielder of Mjolnir
Arthur was the main character in the greatest series I've read so far (though 'so far' is for caution, it would be difficult to beat)
Name (if you don't get the irony of the middle name being 'Name', then I can't help you)
Artichoke because I like the way they taste
Vladimir (after the impaler)
Io is a moon of Jupiter (named after someone from Greece)
Xavier is from X-Men
Briton was suggested by a friend and I liked it
Diablo is a word in many languages referring to demonic or devilish
Julian is the first name of the cool, evil character in the story/novel...thing I'm writing.
I didn't include my surname because I'm a coward.
A girl would be called "Shiloh" or "Io" and a boy would be called... any of the Other names that stuck.
Also, Diablo and Julian reflect my view of kids (though Julian more... you might know what that means someday)

Man, you are going to be cruel to your kids!! 80
What about monogrammed stationery? You wouldn't fit all the initials on the top of the page. Or application forms for jobs - no chance of fitting all of them on the ittybitty box they give you for names.
Still, I guess they will grow up tough won't they!
