*UAV flies through the gate followed closely by Major AkronU*
*stumbles to side looking off balance*
holy crap, it feels like I just pulled negative ten G's
*sits and begins calibrating the UAV controls to make sure they still work*
What are we looking for?
P3X-4077
Scandrea Posted Dec 10, 2004
*Stands back up after nearly getting knocked over by an incoming UAV.*
Next time, warn us before you're going to do that...
I need you to do surveilance over a 10 mile radius area- about a days walk, comfortably. We need to know if this planet is clear of jaffa.
P3X-4077
AkronU Posted Dec 10, 2004
*smiles sheepishly*
sorry, my excitement got the better of me, won't happen again
*checks the console on his handhel device*
I can get you a full survey in about three hours or we can make it quick and dirty in a third that time.

Scandrea Posted Dec 10, 2004
I'd like it as thorough as you can as quick as you can get it. There should be a squad of men coming through soon to help you out. We're waiting for SG-6 here, and then we're leaving. If you're not done by then, the squad will help you clean up. Understood?

AkronU Posted Dec 10, 2004
*salutes*
can do, I'll start the search pattern immediately
*walks off on his own and begins to enter data to start the search grid*

Scandrea Posted Dec 10, 2004
Hough, Munro, go with him. We'll recall you when the backup gets here.
*The two commandos nod and follow.*

bubba-fretts Posted Dec 10, 2004
*Hough and Munro both look at Major Fretts as they go, faces slightly concerned. A half smille and a nod of his head put pay to this*
Major Scandrea, we should all get back to the SGC. We don't know how much time the Colonel has. We can leave Rutherford and Simpson to secure the gate.

Scandrea Posted Dec 10, 2004
*The squad of men follow Akronu through the gate.*
I requested SG-6 to rendezvous with us here- I thought rather than return to base, we could just go planet hopping. We're armed, we have a medic, and we haven't seen any combat. Why would we need to return to base?

bubba-fretts Posted Dec 10, 2004
Planet hopping. Theres a lot of planets out there, I thought trying to narrow down the field may prove helpfull. However as time is passing on we should start one way or another, SG6 can follow. Wheres first?
P3X-4077
Scandrea Posted Dec 10, 2004
Actually, there's not too many- and we've got a few leads. *Holds up the bag of sand* There's not too many desert areas controlled by the go'auld anymore, so it shouldn't be too hard to narrow down. *Pats the palmtop computer on her belt.*
But first, we go with the eyewitnesses- Shiva's planet. I should be able to tell if it's the right place or not.

bubba-fretts Posted Dec 10, 2004
*The five remaining members of SG3 move forward, the Major at the front*
P3X-4077
Scandrea Posted Dec 10, 2004
< Been a while since I've seen that one...>
*The gate opens to F1936526?thread=522786&post=6240674#p6240674 *
Be careful- we're not sure what's waiting for us on the other side.
P3X-4077
bubba-fretts Posted Dec 10, 2004
* The Major walks into the portal, followed one by one, by the other five commandos*
P3X-4077
Scandrea Posted Dec 10, 2004
*Radio transmission comes through gate.*
Do not follow! I repeat! Do not follow!
P3X-4077
Scandrea Posted Dec 10, 2004
*The gate closes, and reopens a second later. Scandrea is deposited on the steps of the gate.*
Ugh...
That wasn't it. She's at Bubastis, has to be, and from what I know of it, the gate opens up in the middle of her city. How are we going to work this one?
P3X-4077
bubba-fretts Posted Dec 10, 2004
*The major steps through after the rest of SG3*
Okay Major lets do some planet hopping!
*Shakes head*
How about next time we just burst into the middle of a Go'auld city, how about Bubastis, that should be heavily enough defended!
*recieves funny looks*
Why you'all looking at me like that, what'd I say something funny?
