I'll admit who mine is if you all can find out who Peta's is.
(not that anyone should care who mine is, but I figured it would be more exciting to track down Peta's alter-ego if it were worded in the form of a challenge)
BTW: Peta is http://www.h2g2.com/U24 *and* http://www.h2g2.com/U15551 But she claims there is another one out there someplace!
Good hunting! A forced confession always seemed to work in Spain. And besides, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition - especially Peta!

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Sep 25, 2000
This is probably not such a big secret, but my alter ego, especially when I'm angry, upset, disappointed or frustrated and looking for a way to canalize my feelings, not wanting to use my vague, elvish, charming personality, is:

Another seemingly abandoned thread! And it was just getting interesting. I was hoping someone would explain how to reset Preferences without losing original identity. Or do you just log on and register again? If that's it, how would you hide your e-mail address? Lie! No way! That would be wrong... And if you tell the truth then TPTWVH would know everyone's alter ID by comparing e-dresses...
????????????
Not that I would want to hide my identity. I yam who I yam. That's why I put my real name there in the first place. That way I'll never say anything I can't back up. Regret perhaps. Forced to apologise, yes a couple of times in the first week I've been here. But hide behind a psuedonym. Never. Just wanted to know how they do it. I think I understand why.
