*Kat grins* I wondered what the smear marks were!
*She wheels over to her desk and picks up the note that Jack had left.
It says........*

<< I've missed a note?? Let's scrap that then!! Grumble>>
*She tucks the note away and turns on the computer*
Soo how you been otherwise? I haven't seen you much...
Medical Bay
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
Well I havent seen you much either

*Kat starts typing up the notes, looking deliberately mild*
Mmm I've been around. So...again...how you doing? You looked tired
Medical Bay
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
Well the surgery was no fun, but you would insist on being doctor death *smiles vaguely and finishes packing his bag*
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Oct 14, 2005
*Kat puts the sheet of paper round and quickly spins round to infront of Jack*
Okay smart guy, that's enough. You tell me right now and let me be your doctor and friend or I'm relieving you of duty. I'm here to get a job done and you are part of it as well as my friend. I've already spoken to the colonel so there's no point stressing over it any more. I could work round it carefully but I'm not going to because I have to send you off-world and I'm not going to until you stop this.

Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
*blinks* I'd be intrugued to know what the colonel told you *works his jaw in irritation*
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Oct 14, 2005
I don't want to pull rank on you Jack but I will. Now out with it and I'll let you take the super sexy First Aid satchel instead of the clunky old one.
Medical Bay
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
Well no *sets down the satchel* I'd like to know how the colonel would know anything about my life outside the base in the first place, because if shes told you something it would mean she does, I mean what does this mean not only having my life slowly ruined I'm having it investigated too </>
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Oct 14, 2005
*raises eyebrows*
The colonel has details on all of us. She knows where we live, who our friends are, where they live, what brand of baked beans we like...She has to, with us working here. Besides...*cough* your mother called
Medical Bay
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
<<*snort* my mother knows I work at the SGC? likely >>
*looks confused* my mother? whats she got to do with anything? If you're trying to trick me you're going about it the wrong way
*turns round and starts to take things out of his satchel in irritation*
<<*cough* go for closer-to-home-life, ex wife perhaps... >>
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Oct 14, 2005

Careful with that, it was expensive. Just tell me eh?
Medical Bay
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
<< my mother knows nothing, its true! >>
*stops and leans on the table* You know, sometimes I wonder why I thought I could juggle working in the military with the rest of my life
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Oct 14, 2005
I came into the military precisely because it's impossible to do. You have to *live* the military at this level. So you tried to juggle it...?
Medical Bay
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
*turns round and glares* Tried being the operative word
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Oct 14, 2005
*Kat bites her lip and looks at the ceiling innocently, whilst very slowly moving her chair to sit infront of the doors so Jack can't escape*
So tell me about trying then...
Medical Bay
Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
What are you, my therapist?? and how did that make you feel? </> *sits on the edge of the table and wrings his hands*
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Oct 14, 2005
Funnily enough Jack....yes I am. I don't just sit around patching people's bodies when they are careless enough to get themselves injured. I'm the base psychologist too.
I can also safely say that I've NEVER said that in my entire medical career. How long have we worked together? You know me better than that.

Spacecadet Jack (Supreme Commander in Cheif) [Major] Posted Oct 14, 2005
*looks up thoughtfully and glares at you* You know, you probably dont exactly have every reason to be nice to me, since my ridiculous bravado contributed to your current state *looks at his hands again and blinks thoughtfully*
