I don't think an afternoon pub venue has been settled on yet, but for variety, it should be different from the evening pub venue. The evening pub venue is not particularly close to the National Gallery, but doesn't take long on the tube.

Well the official page, which this conversation is hanging out of, says "As yet the specific pub for those researchers who want to do a bit of afternoon drinking with other fellow H2G2ers hasn't been decided."
