When viewing H2G2 pages in Brunel skin, entries have a section at the top about "Bookmarking this page" & "This page has not been clipped or bookmarked". What do they do, and why are they there in Brunel but not other skins?

I've tried clicking on the "Bookmark this page" link but it didn't have any noticable effect, though looking around, when I view my personal space in Brunel, the pages on which I clicked the "bookmark" link appear at the bottom of my page. If I return to that entry the link still says "this page has not been bookmarked".
I can see the point of the "bookmark" idea, but why is it only available in Brunel?

"It is called progress.
The site is always in development, hence the function is not jet fully implemented. However the older skins will never be updated with this and many other features available in brunel.

Hmm, the last one does not support conversations jet/anymore the bookmark feature is unlikely to appear in the mobile skin however. "

Saw it at the top of the pages and wondered what it was, didn't seem to make sense. Strange stuff, this progress thingey.
