Afternoon all!
Here's the thing: I'm interested in becoming a scavenger and updating some old Flea Market entries but I just want to check I'm going about it the right way. So:
I have to post a message in the conversation forum of the old FM entry and explain my intentions. I create a thread on the FM homepage to the same effect. I leave a message on the original (Elvised) poster's member page. I re-write the article in GuideML via the Test..... url thingy and post the new one in my FM thread.
I'm confused about the sequence of events though. Do I have to re-write the article before I start my Flea Market thread? Do I need to get permission from the FM bosses/h2g2 editors before I can re-write it?
I'm keen to contribute but don't want to spend time updating articles only to discover I've missed something and therefore wasted my time.
All help greatly appreciated!
