Whatever.... what's your veiw? Longer holidays or getting payed?
Slap him good and proper!
Boo Posted Aug 20, 2002
Hmmm I like the good pay but on the other hand decent holiday time is a definite bonus - I guess it's down to whether you prefer leisurely living or frequent breaks? Personally I like both but will settle for leisurely living.

I never get a holiday and if you call what I get pay for the hours I put in yer havin' a laugh. I call it an insult ... and karma? I'm sarcy and outrageous all the time and bad things hardly ever happen to me cos I don't let them. That of course is apart from acts of god and bills.

I never can get over dead threads suddenly resurrecting.
My dear ghost friend,I don't see that it could but I am not... *whispers* One of Them. As for me,I went to school in Australia where we had spelling every morning and copperplate handwriting lessons as well. This has made me good at spelling but also pompous, overbearing and scathing about other peoples failings in that department. I would probably lobby for the spell checker thingy if I was you.
ps the copperplate handwriting was very pretty though.

In "The States" we had what was called the "Palmer Method", it mainly consisted of seemingly endless hours of loops, swirles, and lines all constructed while arching the hand and imagining there to be an orange rolling beneath said hand. As to the pompous attitude you expressed in viewing yourself in a pretty position to revile those of us who don't seem to meet mustard may I mention the word Dyslexia (likely misspelled)

impartial persona( as only a ghost can be ) applying for leadership of up coming rampage. As mentioned in " THE ART OF WAR " always leave your enemies with an avenue of egress, as desperate men take desperate measures.

Just to put the thread back on track...
I, too, learned spelling on a daily basis at school in Australia, so that I have no need whatsoever of a spelling checker. My keyboard, on the other hand...

I have often wished there was a spell check on this site. Now I have a place to put that thought. THANKS! I also read somewhere that as long as the first and last letters are correct the reader will be able to understand the sentence. Fotr once I am not going to read over this and correct the spelling and typos. Oh tre freedom!

Boo
There was research done at a university, I don't know which, that showed that, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter is in the right place. The rest can be a total mess but it can still be read without too much problem. It's because you don't read every letter by itself but the word as a whole.
