DD - I totally agreed with the sentiment of your remark - just didn't know about the Burnley connection - I thought possibly you had decided to put in Alistair Cambell every 500 words, just for the hell of it.
Actually thats not a bad idea.

Meisere, if the Bantams' defence plays anything like it did against Milton Keynes Franchise on Tuesday, you're in for a great day.

Its all going t1ts up for me this week - (except Peter Thorne) and Coventry are continuing their slide to relegation.

Ormondroyd Posted Feb 12, 2005
Well, Meisere, 2-1 to the Bantams will certainly do for me. Ain't it how often ex-players come back to haunt you?
McKay, have you noticed the three points that you (and I) are getting from the German game?

GreyDesk Posted Feb 12, 2005
riotact, I've decided that I will not allow you to change your scorer prediction.
If I did allow changes, then it would be difficult to draw a line as to what time gap would be fair. In this particular case it was a mere 2 minutes 30 seconds between the two postings. But even so, in my opinion that would be enough time to have clicked through to some other site and discovered that the player that you've just picked has been injured / sold to Chelsea / caught with a gramme of coke up his nose, and to come bac and post a change.
It is on that basis that I will not accept any changes to completed predictons.
The case for incomplete predictions is different. I will accept those provided that the parts that you had previously posted are not changed. For example, if you originally posted:
Plymouth 1- Rotherham (Monkhouse)
then I would allow you to change that to:
Plymouth 1-1 Rotherham (Monkhouse)
What I won't allow is a change to:
Plymouth 1-1 Rotherham (Wotton)
Got that?

I checked the German game later, but its still a bad weekend for me.
Nope still gloomy. Sack the Board.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions too quickly if I were you.
There a couple of players who have come up with power performances, but they were down towards the bottom end of the table as at week five.

After last week's points-fest, we return to a more staid and quiet week. For most it was business as usual - maybe a few less points than in the past, but nothing special
The stories of the week are McKay consolidating his grip on the lead of the table. But hey, it's only by 6 points and we're playing until May.
Owlatron did another of his mass charge assaults on the week's leader board. It's strange, some weeks sod all, some weeks an 11 point hammer! Just like this one
The real story though is the return of our Antipodean teenage sensation, todd_abraham87, to top form. After a solid introduction last week, he's come through with an excellent 12 points, including a full house, to win this week's competition. Well done, sonny!

Well done todd!
But I should like a point for correctly forecasting that Rob Hulse would score on his debut for L***s United, please, Mr Desk.
