*Meanwhile, Chloe can be faintly seen, cleaning up after the animals, who are now underfoot in the kitchen with Matina -- Diogenes meowing, Ook ooking, and Mindspring meeping*
Ah, and here are the skis for Bumblebee and the wing grooming kit for Kasia, too... and the matched onyx goblets for the Professor, to enjoy his San Betian beverages.
As for Garius and Affi... well, as Garius is away till after the New Year, I better wait, cos I got one gift for the two of them. And it didn't fit under the tree anyway.

Witty! Come back! I didn't give you your gift! *digs frantically under all the other uopened gifts that she has been enumerating and finds a very small box wrapped in gold paper, containing a pair of earrings, blue star sapphires* The man in the shop told me they are for far hearing. Eavesdrops, he called them. But I thought they would be good for you cos you're so busy that you don't often get to do more than leave your card.
*settles back with her cup of tea, regarding the other gifts she hasn't given, like Munchkin's and Acolyte's and the rest*

Odra! Thank you for the wonderful wreath of chilis. I posted fast and ran out the door yesterday...I didn't mean to be rude. I have a wind chime for you, called chimes of Partch, because they're tuned to a scale named after composer Harry Partch. For Lil, the garden chimes; sculpted brass bells that sway on metal stalks and lightly chime as they touch. I have small chimes for every Atelier visitor...I'll leave them here by the tree.

*sea re-enters forum after looking at reply to her post*
[sea] umm.... i realize this is a bit late....
*holds out small silver wreath ornament*
[sea] buut.... since i kind of didn't really give this place a chance *mumbles incoherently about recipe trading* i brought champagne for the upcoming new year's celebration that i thought you might be throwing...
*smiles at lil and holds out a case of her favorite champagne*

Hi all!
Lil, thank you so much for the bridle!
*drifting off towards kitchen*
Matina, any of that turkey left?
*sits down to cuddle Springie, and Dio, and Ook*

Hi, sea! Hi, Titania! How was your visit to your mother's house? I have some wind chimes here for you, under the tree.

Morning all - especially sea. Anyone who throws cases of champagne around an atelier - a workshop or studio, especially for an artist or a designer - has got the right sort of temperament to fit in here.

Archbishop Marv, don't you take that pill when you log on to Hootoo? What's so especially different about ~my~ place?
sea, thank you very much for the champagne and gift -- and Merry Christmas to you. There is a little bit of irony involved in calling it an atelier (french for garrett or attic), but you know how easily irony can get lost in the general ambience.
ox, I think Chloe just took my bells out into the snow to plant in the garden.
Oh, and I have an announcement to make. I don't think Violets will be coming back anytime soon; she ran off with a sailor.

Well could have been worse, could have been a circus!
Thank you for the gifts Lil, B17, Ox. I'm feeling a little remiss in not having sorted anything out for you lot here.
Marv, good luck with the move. I considered moving again to change jobs, but quite frankly I can do without the hassle.
More champagne and turkey sandwiches please Matina.

*Suddenly, the Professor wakes up from the seat in the air where he had fallen asleep over both Chrimbo and most of boxing Day!!*
Oh my! Oh, am I still here? Deary me...
Well, I trust you all had a nice Christmas? We were fine, still in our old house, mind. See, we currently own both houses, because the people buying our current house haven't paid up yet. Hence we thought we'd hold Chrimbo here - easier to organise, see...
Got a new hard-drive myself, all running nice and smoothly now. Hehe, got the new Zelda game too for the N64, but my parents forgot to buy the Expansion Pak, so I can't play it yet!
All the same, I've had time to work on my site, and my new section, Big C Media, is now up at (URL removed by moderator), with links to my artwork (which will soon be in plentiful supply, once I've grasped 3DS Max).
So then, anyone on Britain (or maybe elsewhere) listen to Harry Potter today on Radio4? Read all four books myself, all in a week - had time on my hands you see. They're pretty good books, that's for sure, but all the same, I wouldn't have started a craze about them.
Oh, Lil, managed to catch your question from the backlog back there - I must stress that San Beta is trillions of planets, not just one big communal thing. When I say that G-Planet doesn't have holidays, I didn't mean the other planets didn't. No, on the contrary, every planet I've visited at least celebrates a very wide variety of days and events, and those with banks or similar concepts and entities do n fact have bank-holidays, yes.
It's merely the central planet, where all the politicians work, that doesn't ever stop working. Much.
Don't worry, San Beta is a very cultured GalaGroup...
Anyway, must be off, spent too much time asleep!
Toodlepip all, and Merry Chrimbo, albeit it an end...
*the Profesor teleports out......*

*sea immediately starts twitching*
[sea] anytime after december 15th. so any day now. i check the mail three times a day, even though it only comes once! ;-D i'm freaking out... the program i want to get into accepts 15 people out of 100 or so, so i guess you might understand my twitching.
*sea breathes slowly and deeply. the twitching subsides*
[sea] i already checked the mail today, and it's still not here. i've begun to dread 11am (the time the mail comes here)
