There is to be a costume contest tomorrow, and I will be the first patient to be used as a prop by a member of staff.

In me Hallowe'en Anagram costume too.
I WOULD have worn fancy dress to work today, 'cept I have a Very Important Meeting this afternoon, so I've opted for a classy LK Bennett dress instead. Though it's purplish, and teamed with brown tights and ankle boots there's a hint of witch about it.
This evening it's Scottish Dancing, and I may don my Minnie Mouse outfit. Technically it's my daughter's, but since she's moved to London I often wear something of hers in an effort to feel her presence.

I have a costume, but it's a bit skimpy. I'm pretty sure you can all tell who I am underneath. The wings in particular are a bit hard to hide. *flutters*
After a few days of non-stop exciting things, we're not going anywhere today. It's really rather dull. I keep looking up train times to places I have no intention of going. Just want to escape a bit today, not sure why.

*wonders if my costume broke the test version*

Great costumes so far!
I discovered there was a hole in my costume as I used an anagram generator website and somehow ended up with 2 "g"s when I only started out with one so I have adjusted myself *ahem*

Finally got my costume ready, although I'm now not sure if it's the same one I wore last year. That'd just be so embarrassing.

Mine is. I can only find one that fits. Although sometimes I put the emphasis on a different letter. *sigh*
On the plus side, spontaneous treating (I like to give people treats rather than ask for them) has led to discovering two sets of fellow geeks on our housing estate. One house even does the same LARP event as us! I thought we were the only ones in the area!

You mean of the non-abbreviated version? I hadn't considered that. Although now you mention it, I think someone else suggested that last year...
*wanders off to find an anagram generator*

I have a sort of headset with cat-ears called Necomimi (derived from "nekomimi", the Japanese word for "cat ears"), which sort of uses a single-channel EEG to detect bits of the mental state of the wearer. It then uses this to make the ears twitch in response to general moods.
I was going to wear it to my volunteer data-entry gig, but it turned out they didn't need me today.

I didn't have a hole in my costume after all - I forgot what my quote was
SQuash - nonchalant logarithmic delight flower shone
SQuash - nonchalant tile rush delighted flower monitor
I'll go for a simpler nametag next time, I think!

KM, what do the cat ears do? I mean, yes, they move, but what are the variations, and do they have standard interpretations? I think that's really interesting.
