Ti - I understand that they're justified and they're ancient and they like to roam the land.

A few weeks ago I started humming that song when I played a Justified card in the game Ergo (very smiley - geeky - if you don't have a working knowledge of boolean algebra don't attempt to play it), to the complete bemusement of my fellow players. Honestly, young folk today just don't know culture.

Aaaargh! bmi Baby pulling their Belfast flights with immediate effect.

My daughter had managed to get them to sponsor her flights to London in July for the cultural Olympiad. I can't bring myself to look at the cost of replacement flights just yet smiley - sadface

Phil, that is indeed a very, very good cover version, smiley - cheers for the linkage.

Z, many, many years ado I used to go the Dental Hospital in Manchester, I had manya student and newbie dentist doing stuff to me. They were really quite good, however, the work was overseen by a 'proper' dentist bod.

Excellent news about your bracelet, Bea I'm so pleased for you smiley - hug Buggaration about the flights.

Happy Birthday, Candi.

I need more glue for me castle, must go to pound shop...

Sorry for the long absence...had computer problems (could Facebook from my phone but not my computer), and just got reconnected at home.

Wading through the backlog, will return shortly-ish...

RE: post 2147 -- amazing pictures from the Boston Globe for Earth Day, Santra, thanks for posting that link! I did get a little annoyed at their picture #27...there's nothing that can be done to corral that oil and tar oozing up in the park surrounding the La Brea Tar Pits. It is certainly NOT something done to create a tourist attraction!

If you ever get a chance to walk through the park there by the George C. Page Museum, don't wear shoes you can't clean tar off of, as it oozes up wherever it damn well pleases. I learned this the hard way, when I stepped in a new spot that hadn't cleared the grass growing over it yet. It's a great museum, and really a fascinating spot if you're into paleontology.

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

Local cheapy shop had only pva glue (I've got shed loads of that) I wanted clear glue, so the castle's at a standtill 'til Tuesday. So instead we pent yesterday assembling, priming and painting loads of gretchen, goblins, Orks, and few Space Marines I had left. Need to finish painting them all today and tomorrow. Should keep us busy.

That's Pink Floyd, innit?

Saw it - but rather low on the horizon so trees were mostly in the way. Looked brilliant, though - even if I utterly failed to get it captured in a photo. Must learn how to properly take a picture of a brigh object (said smiley - moon) on a dark background (night sky) with my camera...

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence

one of the residents (facility-speak for patient) has gone AWOL. Seems the family urgently needed grandma's signature on some bank-held documents. Despite warnings from the charge nurse, family packed up all grandma's stuff yesterday evening and got out of dodge.

Unfortunately, grandma was wearing a wound vac on her foot, and family took that along as well. A wound vac is extremely expensive and the facility is taking the matter seriously. Also, grandma forfeits all medicare and medicaid benefits by not having an official discharge.

Sad and stupid.
