Welcome to the atelier, ALS!

While I was looking around that website (psdisasters.com) I was laughing so much that my roommate became worried and offered to ring the nurse.

Amy Pawloski, aka 'paper lady'--'Mufflewhump'?!? click here to find out... (ACE)

Congrats and commiserations as are appropriate--I've been a bit busy, and home internet is still dependent on Tom being home (and not using his phone as a phone--and not using my laptop for stuff that can't be done easily via his phone, which I will admit annoys me sometimes, because he has his laptop and actual wifi at the bookstore he can use)

We're settling into our house, though we've still got half our clothing and some other odds and ends at the trailer, and had a party yesterday. I'll stick details in my journal.

Really please d for you, Paper Lady. Great feeling to be in your own place.

A sloth day today. Flew back to Nodnol last night as today's flights were too expensive. So a Ban Collie day away from the family. Dull and grey around Watford. May go for a wander later. Strangely, being near the city doesn't excite me at all. Definitely a country boy at heart.

Good news about the bracelet Bea, and I'm glad the Passing Out parade went well. They're always a nice spectacle.

Greetings, ALS. Welcome.

Minismiley - mouse, have you looked into your entitlements for free dental care now you're expecting. I cant remember if it kicks in pre or post birth. The little so and so's drain the calcium from you.

I've found this as well.

Hopefully it'll be easy to fix...

*wibble*

At least this should prevent the whole site going down on a semi-regular basis, it's a step in the right direction, it's just a nerve-wracking one.

Oops. *Gives the d a nudge to the left*

Classic has wibbled a bit it seems. Certainly at the top of the page its gone a bit different.

Watched "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" the other day. The Daniel Craig version. Blimey. Great film, but not for the faint-hearted. I must read the book now.

A wet, rainy day. One of these days I'm going to have to write an article.

The books are great, Eats! And while I haven't seen the Daniel Craig version and have nothing to say neither for nor against it, I'd recommend the Swedish Millenium versions in a heartbeat. Noomi Rapace is ... brilliant and so Lisbeth Salanderish. Not that the rest of the cast is bad.

Danish TV just finished sending the TV versions which are a little longer and thus more "complete" - we recorded them as they came late-ish and thus meddled with our beauty sleep. So we're in the process of rewatching smiley - smiley

Just got hold of the ebook file SV. Hoping that the Millennium DVD's are subtitled and not dubbed.

Well, I can finally get in here it seems. Been getting nothing but 404 errors all day, tried a work around and then got connection has be reset errors. Was finally able to actually get somewhere after resetting my preferences. Here's hoping this posts...

Titania (gone for lunch)

Oooo, the Scandinavian TV series of Millennium were great! I think I saw the episodes recently on DVD in a major book store chain in Stockholm, need to check if they still have copies left (Akademibokhandeln if anyone happens to be in the neighbourhood).

Nicked this link from one of Mina's journals, posted by Baron Grim:

The past few days have been rather lazy. I ... *think* I've gotten a better grasp on my sleep schedule, but I'm not sure. I also haven't been working on my game lately ... There seems to be a bug: "http://www.h2g2.com/U46995" gives the default skin instead of the one I've set in my Preferences.
