I can't swim myself (I was scared rigid as a child during school swimming lessons) so if it was my son I'd have been *extremely* relieved.

I've been baking today, have wanted to make a giant cupcake in my new kitchen since before we moved in, today I journeyed to Tesco for ingredients and a little shopping. Being this close to town for shopping will take some getting used to. The cake finished cooking around 10 minutes ago, so it's now time to see if I can extract it from the mould and fill and decorate it. I have jam and buttercream

Starting to feel like my sleep-problems are getting ridiculous, and wondering if Something Ought To Be Done. 
I keep having odd sort of dreams about the "new H2G2" and how things would have changed once we moved to the new site. It turned into one of those "you're physically at the location described in the thread" dreams ...

Awoke at dawn to the sound of rain, accompanied by the noise of those of my cats who had elected last night to remain outside. Evidently they felt betrayed. But it's lovely and cool.
I know I'm dreaming extensively but I'm having trouble remembering any of them because body consciousness intervenes ("Where are my legs?") between waking and reviewing what was in the dream.
