Just stoped by to let y'all know I am still alive. Work has been murder this week. Luckily I have now been trained in the highest level we have so no more training for me for a long time I hope.
You can now go back to your regularly schedualed surfing.

How'd your test go, Marv? I *did* wish you luck, however post (ly?).
Lil, I have sat in several chairs; it is an odd feeling, akin to sitting in a toilet, only not so disgustingly morose or unclean. I have also sat in the remains of several chairs...
455528... I first heard word from the Angels, who even beat Peta's and Abi's letters to the Gurus, ACEs, Subs, etc.
My brain is a sponge for useless trivia; especially so that invovling film and television. I *like* Val Kilmer, as an actor. I think he, at times, has plenty of reason to act like a priss (Willow, Tombstone, The Saint, Batman [sure, he isn't a George Clooney ], ...). That is one of my favourite lines in that film.
Current fav? From the movie Clockwatchers:
"Wanna lose something? File it; it'll be lost forever - like magic."

Hiya Marv and everyone.
"Thirty-SEVEN?!"
Ahh, Clerks.
(an enquiring mind is curious and her lSP didn't let her ask)jr, does your state have the death penalty or not? l forget.
Y'know, l wouldn't -mind- so much if Bush didn't -grin- like that when he started going on about all the various persons he'd put to death. Unnerving.
*meanders into library*
l have approximately forty minutes to learn the whole of trigonometry, and after that l shall be in and out all day...

Hello All.
Odra, whatever you may think, your vote does matter. If you don't vote then you can't complain about what a duff choice everyone else has made.
So what is a brief explanation of how the system works over there for chosing the president. Everyone has a vote for their choice of candidate and then what. I know it's not like over here in the UK.

I did pass my test thanks!
I live in Utah, which not only has the death peanlty, but offers firing squad, the only state to still do so.
Anyone need a slightly mad network security type in a place that makes sense? I think that I need to leave this state.

Vermont is quite liberal with their law system... just be sure not to tell any of the Vermont Residents, or else they may start spewing "Take Back Vermont" at you.

Hi all!
Matina, a Y please...
*gets champagne bottle from fridge, picks up Springie for a cuddle, drifting out on the veranda* Hi Violet, you look lovely, as always! *sinks down into chair*

*pokes her head out of the library for the nonce*
Phil: thanks for the offer. l managed to take the aforementioned trig test, tho l forgot my calculator and half of it was strictly calculation. Luckily a friend of mine happened to wander past the classroom door whilst the teacher had stepped out for the moment and l forced him to lend his to me
The trig went okay; l think it's the bit on linear functions that got me... but l'm probably going to be dropping the course anyway.
l'm still voting, mind, if only for the dubious pleasure afterwards of complaining about the fellow who does get in
Marv: "firing squad"? Like, hackneyed-movie-cliche cigarette-and-blindfold type of thing?
What happens if they all miss?
"Take Back Vermont"?
Er. Who's got it now, then?

I think in Kansas they pelt you with corncobs unto death.
Just read my supermarket magazine, where that well-known political heavy, Richard Gere, says he would vote for Nader except that, at all costs he has to not vote for Dubya. The election of Dubya is, in his words, "unthinkable."
I have requisitioned a new bot from the boys. If they're not busy doing adventures, we should have Chloe soon.

Odra, are you aware that in the UK the Shakesperean phrase 'for the nonce' is unlikely to be understood. The current meaning of the word "nonce" is paedophile.

As long as you're going to vote that's OK. I don't personally care who you vote for as long as you vote. Who was it who said Though I disagree with what you say, I'll defend your right to say it?
Glad to hear the trig went OK.
Good point about the firing squad

jeez, I use that phrase too. Must be careful.
Amy, I am going to work on making models to conform to the 300X225 standard. Or at least the image file that the models are bundled in. Do you want some more? To work on, I mean.

Aparantely, the people that currently "have" Vermont are bible-breakin' Sinners who want to make Vermont a totalitarian state and teach children homosexual practices in the schools.
Sounds like a par-tay
