Spreadsheet menus! That's what I call organised. Mrs Eats menued for a month and we actually saved a fortune. I, on the other hand, open the fridge and start at the chocolate then work my way down.
We often forget to use leftovers and waste a lot, which isn't good.
I loved the carved food animals. I wonder what the munsters would make of green-pepper frogs in the fridge.

My mom would love them - but she wouldn't eat them!

Menus... Every once in a while, I'll get the urge to cook something holiday-ish. Then I remember how whipped I was last year, and change my mind. Cooking pumpkin bread wasn't that bad - maybe I'll do that again. Or perhaps spiced sugared nuts... mmmm...

Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.")

We try to stick to a menu, this time of year is really difficult though.

Congratulations on the new job, David!smiley - bubbly

Santra, if you happen to know a site describing how to make double paper hearts, I'd love to have a go at it - I like fiddly things, and ordinary paper hearts are not too difficult, they just require patience and meticulousness.

smiley - laugh I could see myself in that club, too - but the organisational talents of Mrs SG V means that we're largely menu-based. Has the benefit also of reducing shopping time to approx. twice per week.

Ti, I found a page (not very organised or nice looking) that has some - hope you can work your way through the Danish:

I'm pretty sure they've already got long-range missles, I seem to remember it being quite a big deal during the earlier Gulf conflict.

I'm starting to get organised for the trip home. Washing, packing, wrapping presents etc. S and I are hoping to have an enjoyable anniversary on Thursday. He is working tonight as well as Friday and Saturday, so it will be the last day we spend together before I go home on Saturday.

David, congratulations on the new job! It sounds like a keeper. smiley - bubbly

I have ordered the New Wchair, which is now being custom-made for me and, if I'm lucky, just might arrive in time for Christmas. And I will leave the house and make it up to the road on my own power for the first time in, oh, 15 months.

kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013

That is fabulous Lil, will be a great start to the new year.

Am just waiting for my ride to the party tonight - I asked the host if I could bring some of my own mince pies (made with filo pastry - it is normal pastry that is such a killer for me!) and she ws fine about it. She has got some nibbles too so there may have been something I could happily munch on anyway, but I've made them now so might as well take them.

I know I've been at my goal weight for almost six months but still don't feel confident about it, and the fact that I can't exercise at the minute because of my achilles injury means I'm particularly nervous of bllooning over the party season. I *know* logically that I'm not going to wake up tomorrow morning to find 9st has pinged back on, doesn't stop me being scared about it!

There's my ride...

Does this come with impulse thrusters and photon torpedoes? I'm glad you're getting a new set of wheels - it's very empowering, isn't it?

Kelli, hope you have fun! And don't feel too guilty if you eat an extra piece of pastry.
