Listened to a film review on the radio on my way to w*rk, and it sounds as if Black Swan (starring Natalie Portman) might be a good choice for the weekend.

AAARGH-need to rant.
My job, which I thought had a good chance of being long term, finished yesterday-they've decided to use some consultants they work with.
This has brought one or two things between me and G to a head regarding my motivation and the fact that I'm not as forceful with agencies as he wants me to be, and he's seriously looking at moving out.

Rosemary, would it help if you challenge him with finding you a job? So that he realises just how hard it can be?
But then, there's always Murphy's Law, isn't there - which might mean he would be able to find a job for you in no time. Hmmm... tricky....

Its 2012 Olympics in London. A Scotsman, Englishman and Irishman want to get in but don't have tickets.
The Scotsman picks up a manhole cover, tucks it under his arm and walks to the gate, "Mcleish, Scotland, Discus" he says, and walks in.
The Englishman puts a scaffolding pole over his shoulder, "Jones, England, Pole Vault" he says, and walks in.
The Irishman picks up a roll of barbed wire and tucks it under his arm, "O'malley, Ireland, Fencing"
