Me too! Me too!
*Matina apparently can think ahead because she whirrs out with a tray of Y glasses*
The moon was magnificent several nights ago. We had a big bank of thunderheads and the moon was just behind them, so there were lots of moonbeams and moonlight was showing off the muscularity of the clouds. Beautiful! I always watch as long as I can, until the mosquitos chase me indoors.

Hi Lil.
When I get back to Durham I guess the nights will be drawing in somewhat, and we'll get some good skies. Unfortunately I don't think I know any third year astrophysicists this year!

You may find this hard to believe Joanna but neither do I.
I do know a few people who have been out in the sun too long though.

Terrible thing when you stay out too long. An hour a day is about enough for me, most of the time, unless I just get stir crazy. To many horror stories about skin cancer race to mind when I'm outside for more than a few hours at a time without a good container of sunblock, or something.

I did stoop to wearing factor 8 when on a canal boat trip early this summer....

Nice day for a sulk...
"Nice day for a mood...the forecast is good...the kids are melting in the doorway...keep the gang together; there's no way you were ever misunderstood by me..."
*gets champagne*
*continues to sulk to the accompaniment of flutes, piano and keyboard*

I'm lucky, I can open the door and I can walk down the street
Unlucky, I've got nowhere to go and so I follow my feet

Oh, get me away from here, l'm dying...play me a song to set me free /
Nobody writes them like they used to, so it may as well be me /
Here on my own now, after hours...here on my own now, on a bus /
Think of it this way: you could either be successful or be us...

Show me the way to go home
I'm tired and I want to go to bed
I had a little drink about an hour ago
And it's gone right to my head
Where ever I may roam
On land or sea or foam
You can always hear me singing this song
Show me the way to go home
