I suppose it's a matter of having the computer on to h2g2 while also doing other things. One's so-called life.

Right now I bitterly resent not being able to send mail. Especially as I can receive it. The quality of service has really plummeted since the Mindspring-Earthlink merger.

I have h2g2 set up as my default home page. I refresh the browser every so often so appear to be online even when I am not.

Er, what's Phlog?

Still no outgoing mail, and just when I'm trying to get moving on my travel arrangements. I feel extremely restless tonight. I could start a big book cull. Give away every book I haven't opened in 8 years. I've been dragging books around from my philosophy courses. My house is too big and my life is too complicated. I inherited so many things, THINGS. And my neighbours from forever, who were my parents best friends, they've just sold their house and are moving into managed care near their daughter.

I think, actually, I have a bad case of the existentials. Firming up the plans for the big trip has done it.
