I think you should wear Titania's backpack. The one Looney made, with Lintilla, is for work and travel, but Titania's pack has those iridescent highlights in the fabric, and it's lighter. That's what I think.

Just remember, the caves don't belong to you, they belong to everybody. I don't want you flipping out and denting the fridge every time somebody goes through. But I reckon you'll be the only one who explores a lot of what must be down there.

*permits Asteroid Lil to groom him, especially his back and between his shoulders*

*puts on the elf backpack and leaves*

It's sad to see Styx go. I wonder if there's some way to make 'im stay. Oh, I know!

*Presses ear against a wall, hoping to hear Styx turn around and barge back in*

Oh Affi, he's still going to be here, he's just moving up the hall and into Mike's room. Can't blame him. A lot of people come and go through here.

Minoova, move those feathers and Styx's possessions to the Quorthon suite. Very carefully please.

*enters via service lift*

*own voice echos up the hallway*

Actually, you can get a lot more unlucky than that. Do you know that because the head of defense was away (or dead, I forget which) when a rebellion started in some country, none of the people could get at the militia weapons, because the combination for the vault was on a computer, and the only person who knew the password for the computer was the head of defense.

*abruptly finds herself standing in the salon, barefoot*
What! I was in the cafe a moment ago.

Oh well, I can sit down for a moment just as well here. Minoova, bring me some green tea. *sits back in the sofa* I'll just multi-exist at the party as well.

FLAP-FLAPP

*muttering furiously and still sneezing, heads straight for the kitchen* Minoova, run warm water into sink! Almost full! Now give me soap!

*dives into sink and flushes out nose then uses soap to wash smell out of fur* Minoova change water! *dives in again until soap is gone*

Bring towel. *rolls on towel to get off most of water, then sits on counter and grooms thoroughly*

*goes to corner and finds nest gone and is startled for a moment* Moved me already! Just like that! *runs out windows and across veranda then down hall into Quorthon's sitting room. Finds feathers and things in a box*
*pushes box into bedroom and under Quorthon's bed then tears a hole in the side so can get in*
*crawls in and sees postcard. Cries a little bit, then settles down with gnawing stick*

*the room is very empty. Styx can hear distant human laughter and Minoova moving around in salon. Strange animal noises downstairs as usual*

Been around people all day. Too much people.
*falls asleep*

*peeks in, makes sure styx has enough feathers, turns out light*

*floating in, in her usual vague, elf-like manner*
