... and a smart bomb for the foog, to maybe teach him something.

Any other requests?
l fail to see how any weapon designed by the American military could be dubbed a "smart bomb"...but nonetheless...
Sigh. l'm going to miss Thai food.

India has food just as good- if not better. No, the world will be a safer place for gall bladders with Thailand

l'm off to cause all this senseless carnage you people've ordered, then. Consider me your maitre'd of mayhem.
A lunatic's work is never done...
*shambles off, presumably to bomb said locales into oblivion. Though she'll probably be more likely to just singe off her eyebrows again...*
*decides to stop somewhere just once more for some good Thai takeout before she decimates the culture*

Talking about food. Serves up plate of stew. Opens bottle of red wine. Turns off stove. Drifts out to veranda to get a good view of the bombing in the far distance.
I do love the smell of napalm.

G'morning all!
Decided to drop in during working hours, to be able to keep up with the conversation...
Minoova, a café mélange, s'il vous plait!

G'evening Titanaia. Bit quiet at the moment. Sort of the lull before the storm. It was probably a bit like this on the eve of WW2.

Hi Looney!
Still as cold down there?
Don't really like all this nuking-stuff-talking, not at all elfish...

..and then I'm a bit distressed to read in the papers that American diver Gregg Bemis is determined to dive down to the wreck of Estonia..
That wreck is the resting place for a LOT of people, and declared off limits for ANYONE by the governments of the countries surrounding Baltic Sea

I agree it should be left alone. Will the governments intervene to halt Bemis?
July is NZ's coldest month. It can get down to -5 Celsius at night in the North island where I live - it gets colder in the South Island. It warms up to about 15 celsius during the day. September 1 is officially the first day of spring down here. Can't wait.

Well, Swedish government threatened to stop him, by force if necessary.
It was after that that he declared himself determined to do it anyway.
But I guess he'll be arrested or something if he tries, it would be breaking the law.
And that part of Baltic Sea is being patrolled regularly...
Fascinating, I had no idea you had below zero temperatures down there.
I talked to a guy in Melbourne yesterday, and he mentioned the cold too.
But he thought he was better of than we, what with all these floods and things.
It's been raining a LOT this so-called summer...

Happy to have office under ground right now, since visitors report the raining started - again!
Would be a bit too depressing to watch out the window...
Minoova, that café mélange was delicious, a refill, s'il vous plait!

NZ is 1500 kilometres (1200 miles) to the east of Australia. Next stop Antarctica. In the South Island are some of the world's largest glaciers - Fox, Franz Josef. In the Southern Alps the highest mountain (Mt Cook) is 12,349 foot high.
Melbourne has the worst weather in Australia. Four seasons in one day is not uncommon.
It sounds like the Swedish Government is on to the grave robber.

Glaciers, wow! Sounds as if I'll HAVE to visit NZ some time!
Pardon my ignorance on NZ...

Well you can't live in London and not end up meeting Southern Hemisphere types. Still only -5 and getting to 15 in the daytime, it's not that bad
I wonder how long the downtime will be for todays upgrade. Adding all the stuff they really should have added in the first upgrade to H2G2V2.

I see they have allowed three hours. My guess is they will use the three hours, put the site back up, then spend the next three weeks trying to fix the unforseen glitches.
Key: Complain about this post
