That's great. I'm glad Bruce likes it.
Both of those pieces belong in the gallery.

I'll try and get to it later. Right now I must go out and do things IRL, but I'll be back in a couple of hours and launch the third party thread. Will you be back later, Witty M? Hope so.

*Comes up the stairs, two at a time, looking chipper*
Morning folks. Just viewed the tapes of last nights revelry. Looks like I missed a bit of action. Ah well.
*Pours a champagne and orange juice and takes a Mobius doughnut.*

Phil Posted Jul 14, 2000
I'd certainly agree about adding those pictures to the gallery Lil.

Ampton, come over here by the bar. I want to show you something.
*Pulls out 3 bottles, Goldschlager, Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahlua*
Pay attention, Ampton, and be sure you show this to the Colonel later.
*Places ice cubes in cocktail shaker, adds
1 tsp Goldschlager
2 oz Bailey's
2 oz Kahlu
and shakes vigorously, strains liquid into shot glasses.
It's called a Carrot Cake. I found it whilst trawling the internet for traditional carrot cake recipes.
Anyone want to try it?

*comes out of studio* Hi guys! Just working on a new page for the Billy the Kid restoration. I re-worked the image again recently -- but I'll tell you about that later.
Good to see you here, Munchkin, and glad to have Phil and Garius back. I'm going to have OJ and dry ginger ale -- still midday where I am, and I need to stumble around and accomplish a bit more before the day is through. Like start thread 3 of the party in about an hour. The Colonel has a 3-button rule, but I tend to allow for 5 or even 6 thumps of the newer-post button before launching the next thread.
Did you see the cake with whipped cream and strawberries that Freedom left?

You're a restless sleeper! I hope you rolled on the cockroach. Styx hasn't stirred yet. He wants to be right there when QMike arrives, I guess.
Munchkin, stay as long as you can! And drop by again tomorrow.

Alright Ampton, you may be excused now.
Honestly, there are just some things that have to be done by a human. For instance, the Venutian Sunrise... I don't know how he does it, but the colors just don't blend when he pours it, and it just looks like a three layer drink. Very bizarre.
That carrot cake sounds good... I think I'll try one right now. But then, I've always been fond of Goldschlager. A friend of mine used to buy a round of shots of it whenever he started getting good and buzzed, and announced it by asking everyone in turn, "Have you had your daily requirement of gold today?" Ahhh... fond memories of being incredibly drunk...

Oh, Lil, don't worry about my 3 click rule. That's my policy for forums I moderate, but this is yours. Anyway, I put a "&latest=1" for this thread up in my nav bar as soon as I got here.

Bye bye Munchkin, see you later. The accent is wonderful, I haven't heard it up close and personal in 30 years.
Styx, come on in the kitchen and I'll serve you now from the smorgasbord. What would you like?
Key: Complain about this post
