Don't worry, Lil. Ampton is taking good care of me. The color is a little different than the last one, but it still tastes the same.

Somebody fed cake to Mindspring! She's all carbo-loaded. She tap-dances, you know. Not often, but she does. Anyway, two arboreal creatures on the ground are pretty well bound to get along, eh?

Odra, that's not a sloth, that's Ampton, CLI's handyman robot. He's purple, for a start, which sloths aren't. He can breakdance, according to Affi.

Oh, and Odra, the timing is wrong for making friends with Mike -- as you see, he's about to leave for Australia for the summer. You might find him a kindred spirit; he tells me he got in trouble again today, the next-to-the-last day of school and is already up for detention in September. *sighs* I guess I don't need to explain to you about excess of high spirits.

Ampton, let me have some more of that Pimms fruit cocktail thing.

I really envy QMike. I spent 5 weeks in Australia camping and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

I will do that. He said he hopes he can spend a lot of time online on Saturday -- but as that's the day before they travel, and as he has to be up REALLY early for the drive from Plymouth to "Deathrow" Airport, I don't think he'll be around very late.

Odra, spiders is Mike's biggest weakness. He is utterly horrified of them. I see you have a talent for spotting weaknesses.

I don't know whether you'll find graham crackers on the smorgasbord table, but there are definitely some in the pantry, in the kitchen. Ampton, in between serving us drinks, could you carry the empty glasses and dishes and stuff to the kitchen? Thanks. And roust the cleaning bot out of the hall closet, to do the washing up.

Lil, I have just checked something and would like to wish you a happy 40 weeks on h2g2. You know what they say, life begins etc, eyc, so your h2g2 life is due to get even better

Ampton, Front! You're needed at the bar. There's a Pimm's fruit mixture here, too, made by Phil, which is quite interesting.

The floor plan must look quite bare, but it was a conscious decision not to put in the furniture -- you can see there's plenty of comfortable seating about, muchos throw pillows and all. I have a weakness for Art Nouveau, so the wallpaper is a bit arty, I confess, but it relaxes me to look at it.
