The animals are in my studio in front of the fire, fast asleep in a heap. So Ook can stay here tonight. Babel, can you look after the cafe and get it ready for the morning? I am totally tired. Guests, do carry on, or crash on a sofa or help yourself to any of the guest rooms.

Hard to believe this started out as two nice rooms with a skylight. I do love the way space behaves in h2g2, it's a decorator's dream. You should see the size of CLI downstairs, it reminds me of the SAC bunker under the mountains out west in the US.

Anyway, see you tomorrow. Ampton and the bot will put the food back in the fridge when everyone is done for the evening, and there's plenty of makings for tea and coffee.

*heads into studio and private apartments*

I'd guess it's time for you to get to the buffet table, Odra I understand this place is normally pretty stable.

I like the black metallic paper on your gift, Odra. Nice touch. And the snakebite kit and spider repellant could come in handy. I came very close to stepping on a poisonous brown snake barefoot when I was there.

RB, to answer your question, I am keeping an eye open at the Cafe, and will be doing fresh thread in about 15-30 min, just for the sake of continuity and so forth, though it has been dead for the last 8 hours. Also don't mind Styx, probably due to you not being here, although he should be used to you by now due to the safari.
(I might see about making a guest appearance at some point in the adventure )

I haven't been #1 for weeks - and it feels good

I show up on the erudite list fairly often, but rarely on the top ten posters.

Didn't know I was number one. When I finally got around to checking, about 9 hours ago, I was 4th and dropped off rapidly, since my w*** problems this evening have kept me away for large chunks at a time.
DemonDrawer appears to be top still. A good 20 posts ahead of our gracious hostess. I did however make 7th in the top 10 longest posts
this evening too.
Need to nip to Cafe and change the threads soon!
