Am nearly packed!

It only took 15 minutes, but I had already made a list.

Last night at work was the quietest I'd ever know. I didn't have a book with me, so just spent 5 hours surfing and chilling. We ended up winding up the day staff by making up some imaginary patients to hand over to them.

We did admit 12 people, and on the wards there were 4 people who were sick, but there were 4 doctors, and usually there's twice as much work as that.

Though that's a normal night in somewhere other than hospital town on sea.. mind you those hospitals would only have 1 or 2 doctors to cover the work.

Anyway I'm off now. I'm going to work armed with a couple of magazines and a journal, so I expect I'll find 12 waiting to be seen and A and E will refer me another 20. That's pretty much a normal night.

Right, I'm finally ready to go, bar loading the car, which'll take about 15 minutes.

I'm startled by my own tardiness.

We might drop by if we find an internet cafe. But then again, we might not.

gah its gone 3am and i am still awake! i dont know why i bother trying to sleep these days! on the upside the coffee i made in my thermos last night is still lukewarm. mmm

i really want UWS to get back to me about teaccher training stuff asap because if they do accept me then i have to matriculate next monday (15th) and a week isnt long to get everything sorted!

anyway, thats enough of my wittering. Who else is in, and how is everybody?

I am fine Min , I am staying up late because TPTB have asked me to work nights next week . But they did not ask me until late this morning so now I am staying up late , drinking large G+T's and watching baseball on tv .

It's been raining since about 4 pm and the temperature is dropping. We're supposed to have several days of this and I might just pull the ornamental screen away from the fireplace and start the season's first fire. From what I could smell during last night's walk, I'm not going to be the first one in town to do so.

i think i am awake because of messed up sleep pattern, addicted to h2g2 and stress! i just ant to get everything sorted for uni as soon as possible!

G+T is something i have never tried, my drink of choice is usually especially kopparberg, either apple or pear, i dont mind!

i have never understood the difference between baseball and rounders, mind you i dont understand sport in general!

Yes it is autumny [ is that a word ? ] on this side of the Atlantic to .I have a few strategies lined up to combat high fuel bills/climate change mainly this involves wearing a cardigan and polystyrene !
