Bright and sunny this morning.

Yesterday's lunch with the outlaws went well, even though I felt pretty rough with this virus. His Dad was pleased with the webcam. I gave H one for Xmas and it was a 'buy one get one free' job. So now H has someone he can use the webcam with.

What to wear to the symphony? Smart casual, I would wear a smart pair of trousers with a very slightly sparkley top. In fact what I wore on Xmas Day. Sorry to hear about the car, MR, but I hope you weren't hurt at all?

Live classical music? *sigh* What to wear? What Caer said. The sort of thing you'd wear on a date to a reasonable restaurant - one that was nice but not indimidatingly so.

My ex wore jeans and a sweatshirt to the ballet once because he was in such a terrific sulk about being 'dragged along'. The joke was on him, twice. He *loved* the ballet, and he was bang in the middle on the scruffy >> smart equation.

So wear something that you look good in, and feel fabulous in. No point in having uncomfortable knickers all night.

My virus is turning into pneumonia. Rough case - my brother and his wife have had the pneumonia for almost a month now. Combined with my hurting back it all feels like hell.

I'm feeling disappointed, but otherwise well.

We were on our way to Wisley to have lunch in the proper restaurant and got completely snarled-up in a serious traffic problem so have ended up back at home, lunchless.

It had taken me four years to talk Mr T into going there - harrumph!

Oh dear.

I like putting up holiday decorations, but hate taking them down. So I generally leave them until I'm ashamed of myself.

I did not open the bottle of champagne that has been in my fridge for two years. So I was hangoverless,as well.

What I am right now is needing my breakfast.

Do you take Christmas things down on the first of Jan, I thought that the sixth was the tradional time.

Yep, the 6th is 12th Night - or Epiphany. I'll have to take mine down today though, since I'll be away then.

I had better define "evening" in this planet-wide crowd! It will be about mid-afternoon for me. Maybe a little bit later.

MR, sorry to hear the Saturn caught a bad bump. My Saturn got t-boned in a Walmart parking lot back in Florida, but the plastic panels sprang right back out. I believe our Walmart parking lot in Ruidoso is the most dangerous spot in Lincoln County.

Five people in meeting today! And it's dreary and rainy out, but I don't mind because I'm going to do some more art.
