Right... after getting up 1½ hour earlier than usual (5.15) trying to be at w*rk at 7 am, the commuter train (that ran perfectly on time Tuesday and Wednesday) was cursed with door problems, wagon problems and - finally - signal failure at one of the stations.
Arghhh!!! That's why I usually choose to travel by bus and tube! But with the strike, I have no choice.
To top it off, the task that I was supposed to perform at this ungodly hour at w*rk can't be done. The files needed haven't arrived.
Bah! Pah!
And in order to avoid getting up earlier than absolutely necessary, I thought I'd buy myself a sandwich on the way to w*rk - turns out nothing (supermarkets, cafeterias, you name it) opens until 8 am *tummy rumbles, demanding breakfast*

As long as you wait with getting the rain here until after I have bicycled my 19 km/11.8 miles home from w**k today, it's OK with me 
Actually, it may be a very warm trip home - right now it's 26°C/79°F. And I am not in fantastic shape (unless long and thin is a shape

Zomnker, what happened with the bomb threat? Was it a false alarm or what? That must have been frightening for Jen and all of you. 
I have never had anything except a PC. I've never even touched a Mac keyboard. No Ipod. No anything. I do have a new Sony CD changer that sounds fab.
