Strangely your day seems a lot worse than mine has been. I hope it works out for your fellow worker.

Thanks Phil, but it isn't a fellow worker but it is a work related thing.

*Hands a beer to Phil and something somewhat harder to Strangely, both of whom look as though they need it.*

You try to remain detached as it is only a job and can walk away but when you see someone who is very ill who you have known a long time even if only as part of your job it is difficult to not feel sorry for them. To a certain extent you do become immune to it a little as not a relative and the person isn't a friend, but if someone is ill more than they used to be it it is difficult not to feel sad for them,` but not to the extent of a relative of course. Relatives are a 24 hour for ever thing, I am being paid.

IKEA - always risky to pay a visit, since you end up with only half of the things you intended to buy, and a lot of things you never knew you needed...

Wow - it seems that info even reached the US:

So beware, any artists about to perform in Sweden - the reviews you'll get will be based upon a personal impression!

I don't think there's anything wrong with being Marvelous Marv The Grate...

Woo...that photo of Keith on the BBC link. You could toss some dirt into those crevices on his face and grow some tomatoes and corn, no problem.

I know you saw me, and I'm pretty sure we saw B$
Yes, we *did* get relocated, but we've got a temporary phone number, so I can still get online the phoneline to the temporary place seems to be in better shape, too--I haven't heard any static in the line, and my internet connection hasn't dropped once (I'd gotten used to having to reconnect 2-3 times a session, at least!) I suppose I should stop muttering about my isp and/or wondering if my modem's trying to die...

Strangely, that's a tough place to be.
Currently waiting on a friend who has chosen the hottest, muggiest day of the year to move, so that I can help her move stuff. I love this gal, but the weather for moving sucks.
