Nice to see you at NationStates Candi, it doesn't take up much time all you have to do is respond to your issues, and you can choose at what rate you get them.

I think perhaps I should put serious effort into my degree instead. But no I'm just writing fiction instead.

I have a question for you, I have a roof garden. Well to be more accurate I have a roof, that I want to turn into a roof gardern.
Any advice on how I should do so with no money?

That was a bit abrupt, I mean of course not much money.
Hypathia, whilst I'm glad that you've never ran over anyone from Ohio, I'm wondering why it's in your user name.?

Yes, something along those lines, but make sure that the "natural" things are actually available for taking. My addition to that would be to go find a field in late summer, and take a small paper bag with you. When you find a flower in seed, tap a few into the bag. Bring it home, put them in potting soil, and see what comes up. Weed it, encourage it.
And if all else fails, spend your lunch money on a mixed seed packet.
Does anyone want to do my laundry for me? I'm really dreading it today.

I'm a bit nervous about taking wild flowers a lot of them are endangered - and yes I do have enough money to buy a container and some needs. But i like the natural idea.
We're talking Birmingham here, I don't have any local fields, but I'll see what I can find in the wild section of our local park.
MR - A and I will come and do your laudry, but you might be waiting a while.

They are showing Jesus Christ Superstar on TV atm. Makes me feel very nostalgic. I bet my daughter (13) would like it. This is "so kamp" she'd say.

you dont need to take wild flowers let the birds bring in the pollen and seeds on there coat ,others can be obtained from building sites, put bird feeders up there and water in rocks they will be looking for beetles ect on plants.
